NO DELAY

CONTRACT NOW

The JetBlue pilots’ union is seeking an extension of the pilot group’s current contract to address economic ground lost in a changing airline landscape. For years, the pilots helped JetBlue weather difficult times and contributed to the current success and stability of the airline. Now, with contract negotiations ongoing, JetBlue aims to merge with another airline. In an effort to reach an agreement before the end of 2022, the pilots attempted to ease the negotiating process by setting aside difficult work-rule and other contract issues, instead focusing only on economic items.

The market for qualified pilots is on the rise, and JetBlue pilots will not allow their careers to be put into a holding pattern while their airline pursues its merger ambitions. An investment in JetBlue pilots now will align the airline with the rising market for professional pilots and allow JetBlue management to concentrate on its acquisition of and merger with Spirit Airlines.
